Liam Neeson is still talking to Natasha Neeson every day ‘as if she’s here’

With his deceased wife, Liam Neeson remains deeply in love. The native of Ireland was previously married to Natasha Richardson, whom he had been with from 1994 until her tragic death in 2009 as a result of a skiing accident at the age of 45. Micheál, 26, and Daniel, 25, are the actress’s loving sons. Since she passed away, their father, who is now 70, hasn’t remarried.

Neeson and the British actress got to know one another when performing in the same Broadway production of Anna Christie in 1993. The Parent Trap actress was 29 at the time and was married to producer Robert Fox. Neeson recalled: “She was a radiant beauty. Yeah, cascading hair. I remember. There was—that was very, very attractive. I’d never had that kind of an explosive chemistry situation with an actor, or actress. We had just this wonderful kind of dance—free dance on stage every night. She and I were like [Fred] Astaire and [Ginger] Rogers.” When she passed away, her kids were just 12 and 13 years old.

Neeson added that he visits her burial site, which is close to his house in upstate New York, every day, demonstrating how much he still cares about her.

The Sun said: “I speak to her everyday at her grave which is about a mile and half down the road. I go down there quite often, so I do speak to her as if she’s here. Not that she answers me.” What a great display of affection from the Taken actor.
